The hull apartment is located on the top floor of a densification project and has two glass-filled outside walls, extended at the front with a terrace overlooking a small courtyard. In order to preserve the openness of the loft, the additional functions are located towards the closed parts of the space, the side walls, as much as possible. In this way natural light can enter in the living area through the window at the terrace. Only the central cabinet with kitchen and office functions, on both sides framed by a ceiling-high inner door, separates the day area from the night area. The loft displays efficient living on a small surface without too many visual distractions. To create a sober look, two sober yet contrasting colours were chosen: black and white. This contrast forms the constant of this design.
