An open plan and a far-reaching design, yet a cosy home and a habitable house was what the client had in mind when he bought his hull loft. It was attempted to preserve the spaciousness as well as to make the necessary living functions fit into the space as organically as possible. For the layout of the loft the concept is based on the floor plan of a southern village, complete with village square, narrow streets and cottages giving out on to it. The separate modules that are placed in the space for each family member can exist autonomously. By means of room-high glass doors they can be closed off, but when the doors are open everything is a single unit. This way the space is constantly in motion and lives along with its inhabitants. The absolute simplicity is supplemented with the curves as only spirited detail. The curving line in the entrance hall continues in the table and the ceiling pilots the visitor through the entire space.
